This resource originates from the need to provide online music education to my students in the Bay Area because of the COVID-19 Crisis (and the Shelter In Place order). Children enjoyed the weeekly virtual classes, so this opportunity is now being made available to the public.
After you register and pay, you’ll receive nine weeks of two 30-minute videos (a total of 18 classes) via email. The videos are set to “unlisted” on YouTube, so can’t be found using a search engine.
When your child begins using the product, you’re welcome to film them playing along with some or all of the songs from each weekly video lesson. I would then be happy to provide feedback and tips to you via email. You’re also welcome to contact me via email with any questions.
If you can buy one or two buckets, that would be great. The special quiet sticks we use in class are great because the volume stays under control. You can find them here.
If you don’t have a bucket and drumsticks, don’t worry. The kids could use their legs, a cardboard box, Tupperware, storage container, etc., as the drum, and their hands, chopsticks, wooden spoons, and pencils as the sticks.
NOTE: If you’re looking for individualized and one-on-one instruction, I offer Skype lessons for both bucket drumming and drum set. Feel free to contact me for more information.
